Pictures of the Decade

An indigenous woman holds her child while trying to resist the advance of Amazonas state policemen in Manaus. It was viewed as a David versus Goliath battle, pitting humans against the industrial beast. Influxes of landless people from South Brazil had moved to land near Manaus in the heart of the Brazilian Amazon during the past decade but they were forcibly evicted to clear land earmarked for development. I've noticed a pattern

During the weekends for breakfast I eat: Saturday: Bacon and Eggs Sunday: Pancakes
During the weekdays, it varies depending on time. Usually, the food consist either fruits or oatmeal.

Sounds like I'm eating healthy, ha XD

Yesterday, Saturday, went to the movies.

Seen two:

Avatar
At first I wasn't all that interested in the movie when the trailer came out.
In the end it was quite an enjoyable movie. Got the message it was delivering.
One: Humans are never happy with what they have
Two: They want more and more and more...
Three: True

The second one was the second Twilight film, New Moon.
Yeah, so I watched it. No, I'm not a fan
I must say, I enjoyed the second one way better than the first one.
Sure, it still had its ridiculous moments (Bella, Oh, Bella!) but still... better than the first one.

Flatter me, and I may not believe you.
Criticize me, and I may not like you.
Ignore me, and I may not forgive you.
Encourage me, and I will not forget you.

0503: Breakfast
[info]aleurier
Seriously

Why is it that cooking takes nearly an hour to make but eating the finished product takes less then, what, fifteen minutes?

Eating too quick perhaps?
Not savoring it?

Unlikely because I do

I just end up not liking the food I make.

Bah
